Meet Gabby:
I’m Gabriella (“Gabby”) Barbuto, a High School Adjustment Counselor and a dedicated Executive Functioning Coach focusing on the needs of middle and high school students. I graduated with my Master’s in Social Work from Merrimack College, and as a neurodivergent individual, I’m passionate about fostering knowledge, inclusivity, and genuine support in mental health.
Whether I’m guiding students in the classroom or coaching adolescents on time management and organization, my goal is to ensure everyone feels seen, heard, and empowered.
When I’m not working, you can find me hiking or reading, recharging and finding new ways to celebrate the beauty of diverse experiences.
My Passion & Motivation
I believe that knowledge, acceptance, and compassion are the cornerstones of true healing and personal growth. In my work with teens and young adults at the high school level - and as a Per Diem Child Care Counselor - my goal is to meet people where they are and help them harness their strengths. I’m deeply committed to empowering each individual on their unique journey, working to reduce stigma and cultivate environments where everyone’s voice matters.
My Background & Expertise
I’ve built my career as a School Adjustment Counselor and mental health professional, supporting children and adolescents in both high school and residential settings. My Master’s in Social Work from Merrimack College, combined with my lived experience as a neurodivergent individual and my professional background, has shaped my empathetic, strengths-based approach.
At Eledex Consulting, I focus exclusively on executive functioning coaching for middle and high school students - guiding them to develop practical life skills like organization, time management, and self-advocacy. I also collaborate with Kelly to design and lead workshops and trainings that expand advocacy, foster inclusivity, and promote mental wellness for all.
